Looking for a delicious and easy way to cook bison steak? Look no further than this balsamic-soy bison steak marinade! This marinade is packed with flavor and will tenderize your steak to perfection. All you need to do is marinate your steak for a few hours, then grill or pan-fry it to your liking.
Ingredients:
2lbs sirloin steaks
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil [for searing, not for the marinade]
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients (except the olive oil) into a bag and mix well.
Add the steaks and marinade for up to 24 hours, and I recommend at least 2 hours before cooking.
Heat a grill or pan over medium-high heat.
Remove the steaks from the marinade and discard the marinade.
Add the olive oil to the pan, and then add the steaks to a hot grill and sear the steaks, then cook them to your desired temperature. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove the steak when it's about 10 degrees lower than you'd like the steaks to be and let it rest for 5-10 minutes, tented under foil.
Enjoy!
