Ingredients:
3 tablespoons cornstarch (2 tablespoons for the beef, and 1 tablespoons for the ending sauce)
1⁄2 cup water
2 tablespoons water, divided
1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
5 lbs Flat Iron Steak, cut in thin slices
2 tablespoons sesame oil, divided
4 cups broccoli florets
1⁄3 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
4 cups brown rice
Directions:
Boil the water and steam brown rice according to instructions
In a medium sized bowl, combine 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 2 tablespoons water until smooth, then add the garlic
In this medium sized bowl, add the cut 5 lbs of bison flat iron steak (this may need to be completed in batches)
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, stir-fry beef in 1 tablespoon sesame oil until beef is only slightly pink
Remove the bison from the pan for now
Add the broccoli and cook for 2 - 4 minutes as the broccoli crisps.
Add the bison to the broccoli mixture in the pan (this may need to be completed in batches)
In the pan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger.
Wisk together 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 1/2 cup water until smooth and add this mixture to the pan add to the pan.
Stir the ingredients over medium-high heat until the sauce is reduced
